Amtgard definition
N. Entry point to an event, where you sign in, pay your entry fee, and receive your gate favor all from the person on Gate Duty.
This is usually where the radios for security are stored and it is an easy place to find some one who is in charge, or basic information about the event and what is going on that day of the Event.
