Reserved Symbols

To support our Awards and Recognition systems, Amtgard has a number of symbols or garments that are reserved for those who have received the relevant honor. These reserved symbols are:

Symbol  Reserved For
Phoenix (any) The Phoenix is the symbol of Amtgard and may only be worn in the following circumstances: as part of Kingdom Heraldry; when granted permission by Amtgard International, or as one of the specific variants listed below.
Belt, White (with or without trim) Knights. it is common to trim the white belt in the colors of the knighthood path(s) of the wearer.
Unadorned Chain Knights
Spurs Knights
Phoenix, White or Black Knights
Phoenix, Gold Masters. The background upon which the phoenix is placed represents the type of Masterhood.
Belt, Red Squires
Belt, Black with Silver Trim At-Arms
Belt, Yellow Pages
Class Sash with Silver Trim Paragons of that Class
Class-Colored Belt Favor with Silver Trim Apprentices of that Class
Sash, Mono-Colored Classes. All class identifiers are reserved in combat and roleplay for players who are actively playing those classes.
Thick, black-and-white stripes (invoking modern Referees), and straight, black/white checkerboard patterns. Reeves and other active Rules Authorities
Sash, Pink Special. Pink sashes reserved as a visual indicator for accommodations granted to those who prefer not to be struck.

Phoenixes
The Phoenix is the symbol of Amtgard and may only be worn in the following circumstances: as part of Kingdom Heraldry; when allowed by one of the honors below; or when granted permission by V9: Amtgard International. V9: Symbols of Knighthood V9: Symbols of Masters

Squires
Red Belts.

At-Arms
Black Belts with Silver Trim

Pages
Yellow Belts.

Paragons
Silver trim on the relevant class sash.

Apprentices
Belt favor in a class color, trimmed in silver.

Symbols of Classes
All class identifiers are reserved in combat and roleplay for players who are actively playing those classes.

Symbols of Reeves
