A Golem Monster from the Book of Engoku.

Description

Terracotta Golems are guardians of burial sites. They are extremely fragile, but make up for it by coming in VAST numbers, sometimes as many as EIGHT THOUSAND. They are hollow, and each is unique. They come equipped with armor, shields, bows and arrows, and even have mounts. Players are encouraged to switch weapons between lives.

Drab brown from head to toe. Oriental armor.

Armor: Up to 4 points normal armor. Never less than 1. Up to Large shield
Weapons: All melee, short bows
Immunities: Control, Death, Disease, Poison, Subdual, Flame
Natural Lives: 8

Abilities & Traits

Levels

  • 1st As above
  • 2nd Total Lives becomes 10
  • 3rd May use javelins
  • 4th Total Lives becomes 12
  • 5th Can summon Archery Mount in lieu of using javelins. These mounts also have Sheer Numbers and Weak Traits.
  • 6th Total Lives becomes 14

Note

In a Quest scenario in which a staggering number of these things are to be found, you may as well give them the Trait: Serial Immortality. This is entirely up to the Reeve, but eight thousand kills takes a while.
