- A grey sash indicates a Monk.
- An arrow with a grey cover is a Phase Arrow.
- A grey spell ball is a Phase Bolt.
- In Heraldry grey uncommon, but when it was used it was called Cendrée or in Spain De piedra. They are described as the colour of ash or stone walls.
- Silver in heraldry is called Argent and is represented by White, not grey.
