Redav has a Long Back Ground Written based on his actual experiences in Amtgard. To Sum it up he is from a Small Warrior Society, founded the spartans, and became sheriff of Harbour of Rhye. He took a short 2 year hiatus from the game only going back a few times through out the year. He is now back in full swing at HoR.
