Ok so I deeply appologize to this taking so long to answer many people's numerous requests as to what is actually being voted on. Most of your questions were ones I had to consult the incoming king on since I cannot make these decisions on my own. I did clarify some of the things holding back the MH vote, but will elaborate more for those who were not present, as well as all the other motions at the althing. See below:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Over the past few weeks our members have dealt with many challenges. We've seen earthquakes, droughts, fires, dust storms, earthquakes and more. Through it all, we have also found faith in one another demonstrated in our actions to care for one another. In the month of September, Amtgard raised $12,033 to fight hunger in our communities. The sum raised this year is nearly 4 times the amount last year and translates to roughly $120,000 in buying power for the various food charities. Amtgard has also ran donation drives to help families recover from the loss of their homes by wild fires while we also supported [[Bitter Coast]]'s Wounded Warrior drive raising $1500+ dollars. We, the Food Fight team, want to congratulate and thank ALL of Amtgard for their help on another job well done. The [[Kingdoms]] of the [[Golden Plains]] and [[Dragonspine]] ran one hell of a race and in the end it looks like the Golden Plains came out ahead with an impressive $3779. The CK continued to set a great example, leading the way collecting well over 500 cans and the [[Freehold]] of the Golden Plains has opened the door to a whole new way of addressing the Food Fight through volunteerism.

*1. [[Obsidian Grove]] (the land in Vancover, Wa) asks to join BS as a dependent land. They did submit a copy of their contract with [[BL]] with this request. (Yes this will be voted on at the althing this weekend)
+
We want to thank the Kingdom Reps for their outstanding support and leadership as well as thank [[Francis]] and the Clan feast team that helped kick off this year's campaign.
*2. Motion to "Approve MH move to a NL dependent land (thereby making them a BS independent land)." (This is going to be tabled. After looking into what it is going to take for them to sign a new contract I have found that we need to fix the contract so as it allows lands to choose or request to be either a dependant land or an independant land instead of automatically getting placed under one or the other due to the way the contract is worded. I will be bringing up this change at the althing this weekend so that we can get the contract re-worded and voted on in April. This directly affects the vote in question, because if we do vote them in as the contract is now, it would be a violation of the corpora. So this item will continue to be pending until the Contract is fixed.)

*3. Motion to "Move [[kingdom seat]] from Portland, Or to Eugene, Or." (This item has been removed, and will be reflected as such at the althing this weekend.)

*4.Add a section to the corpora titled "Findings" in this section add, "The [[Kingdom]] of [[Blackspire]] finds that the group of people known as the "Amtgard [[Circle of Monarchs]]" does not have any authority to determine membership status for state recognized NPO's. These functions are "Out of game", have no place in the Rules of play, and do not fall under jurisdiction of the "Amtgard Circle of Monarch's". As such, the kingdom of Blackspire chooses to not acknowledge or use the suggested criteria for [[kingdom boundaries and park sponsorship]] as listed in the amtgard [[rules of play]] 7.5 on page 65." (This item also is being tabled and will be going to the BS BOD to check into the legality of the wording.)

*5. Remove section 9.4 as well as [[pricipality]] and [[grand duchy]] references from sections 7.74 and 7.8. (This item is still being voted on unless the populace votes for it to be tabled as many people on the list have indicated they would like to see. I have not recieved a confirmed answer from our incoming king as to weather NL can vote on this or not, but have strongly advised him that IF it is voted on this weekend (and not tabled), they should since the contract we currently have with them still reads that they have a right to vote in things that directly affect them (well yes an old contract, until we fix the contract issue, they are still under this old one).)

*6. Revise the BS contract (listed in 8.2 of corpora) from "are not subject to BS althing rulings, except regarding issues upon which they have voting privileges" to read, "are subject to BS althing rulings."(Same answer as my answer in Motion #5)

*7. Motion to add to the [[corpora]], "Elected [[BOD]] members should be dependent land members."(OR alter section 3.2312 to include BOD positions, making it read, "This may be set higher by the Monarch and must be announced (if different from the minimum) within one month of assuming office. This requirement applies to Monarch, Regent, PM, Champion, and BOD positions." Yes will be voted on at althing this weekend, no NL will not be allowed to vote on this issue, as this motion is to just put the wording into our corpora what we already practice.)

IF you are not going to be at the althing but wish to vote (if your dues paid) then please send me your absentee/proxie votes before Thurs. night (I am leaving for Spring War after the althing, so will be packing all day friday and not near my mailbox, internet, or anything resembling amtgard... )

Ladies and Gentlemen, Over the past few weeks our members have dealt with many challenges. Amtgard has also ran donation drives to help families recover from the loss of their homes by wild fires while we also supported Bitter Coast's Wounded Warrior drive raising $1500+ dollars. We, the Food Fight team, want to congratulate and thank ALL of Amtgard for their help on another job well done. The Kingdoms of the Golden Plains and Dragonspine ran one hell of a race and in the end it looks like the Golden Plains came out ahead with an impressive $3779. The CK continued to set a great example, leading the way collecting well over 500 cans and the Freehold of the Golden Plains has opened the door to a whole new way of addressing the Food Fight through volunteerism.

We want to thank the Kingdom Reps for their outstanding support and leadership as well as thank Francis and the Clan feast team that helped kick off this year's campaign.

We hope you are able to take a moment and enjoy this success and our appreciation. Know that there are smiling faces, enjoying a good meal because of your hardwork.

Thank you and congratulations again to Golden Plains.
