About

Evan joined Amtgard around 2015, though sporadically attended practices. It wasn't until the summer of 2017 that he began to attend practices regularly at the then Freehold of Forgotten Glades.

Fighter Name

Evan was decided as a fighter name after rejoining belegarth in 2015 after a year and half long hiatus. He has stated that the name change was a way for him to give the sport a second chance - starting anew. The word Evan in Hebrew translates to stone; being a symbol of eternity and humility in the Torah (Old Testament).

Lore:

Pre-Exile

First born of a prominent trading clan on the edge of the known world and Arcadia, Evan grew up surrounded by fey, mer, and men alike. Growing up, he was taught the skills of a villain - cooking, bartering, organizing, artisan crafts, brewing, sewing, and self defense. For most of his early career, he simply volunteered for duties in the local militia as an instructor of recruits and levies. Then the culling happened. Most records depict internal conflict in the town as external threats (raids, plague, wild hunts) continued to put pressure on the townsfolk. For a time, Evan had fled the town, seeing as the town as lost to the wilds. In exile, he met the love of his life; a Noblewoman from the Southern Kingdoms, Isa.

Post-Exile

Living in exile for many seasons, he was contacted by Stroth "Full of Hate" to return to the Town of Tir. Evan, being the last surviving descendent of the town's council journeyed north to return to his home. Upon returning to the town, he saw that it was nearly empty, save several half-giants who now guarded what was left of the fortifications from further incursion. Working with the new half-giants from beyond the great ocean, Evan, Stroth "Full of Hate, Maicha, Thorfin, and many others rebuilt the town of Tir. Now Tir lives again, with a council bringing prosperity to all who reside within. Evan, at the end of his term as realm leader now looks to the north and south. To the south his love awaits his return. To the north his new home of Forgotten Glades beckons.
