History

from foamwar.com: Land of the Wyvern's Spur was established in April of 2001. The original group that laid claim over the Berkeley Marina was known as the Land of the Burning Gnome. When the vetrans that made up the older land left it to the next generation, it was renamed.

The founders of Wyvern's Spur were known as Tevacious, Aldin, Nivek and Sodar.

One of the founding lands of the Northern California Confederacy, now the Principality of Westmarch under Dragonspine.

From Interstate 80 West

Take the University Avenue exit, and head *west* towards the bay. When you come to a fork in the road, with boats straight ahead, a half-left, and a full right, turn right. The road will turn left. We meet at the end of the road, near the trees by the road. If you have trouble finding parking, going to the end of the road where there's a turnabout. Coming back, the second driveway leads to a parking lot.

From 80 East

Take the University exit. The offramp very quickly splits, you'll want to go up to the overpass and merge onto University Ave. You'll need to make a u-turn; the first legal place will be 7th street, about 5 blocks up. Go down University ave, west, towards the water. Once you're over the freeway overpass, follow the instructions as above.

I've come this far and I STILL can't find you!

At the end of Spinnaker, there is a roundabout where during the summer months huge kites often fly attracting people to the van selling kites. As you are driving TOWARDS the bay, there is a large oak (?) tree on the right, JUST BEFORE the roundabout under which we meet. If we're not there, look under the group of 3 trees by the portapotties, you'll probably see a big pile of stuff there. You can either wait there until we return, or walk up the path a bit, then wonder into the trees and brush to the side.

mapquest - but virgina street, listed on the map, is a dirt road closed to cars...
