Directions

We meet Sunday afternoons at Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley. From Highway 80, take the University Avenue exit, and head *west* towards the bay. When you come to a fork in the road, with boats straight ahead, a half-left, and a full right, turn right. The road will turn left. We meet at the end of the road, near the trees by the road.

From 80 West:

Take the University exit Turn LEFT at the stop sign (onto University Ave) Go straight through the next stop sign Turn a slight right onto Marina Blvd. At the lefthand bend, Marina Blvd becomes Spinnaker Way

From 80 East:

Take the University exit Merge onto University Ave MAKE A U-TURN at 7th St onto University Ave (5 blocks from the freeway) Go straight through the stop sign Turn a slight right onto Marina Blvd. At the lefthand bend, Marina Blvd becomes Spinnaker Way

I've come this far and I STILL can't find you!

At the end of Spinnaker, there is a roundabout where during the summer months huge kites often fly attracting people to the van selling kites. As you are driving TOWARDS the bay, there is a large oak (?) tree on the right, JUST BEFORE the roundabout under which we meet. And if you still can't find us, you can try calling me to scream in exasperation that my directions are not good enough. Hopefully I'll pick up for your rants.
