Would it be a good idea to have a sort of "database" in this page somewhere to record and review as many different brands and types of noodle as possible? A noodle consumer reports if you will. Perhaps with a 1-X numerical rating even.--Lumpy!! 00:34, 16 June 2008 (EDT)

Is that comment about fifteen noodles for fifty dollars true, or is it a joke?

I do not believe it is a joke. Besides in the end each stick would end up being $3.33, which is a much better price than the $5 a stick I had to pay last winter from a pool supply store. Remember kids: stock up on noodle before the off season! >_<--Lumpy!! 01:35, 16 June 2008 (EDT)

Would you think A good place to put a link to the proposed "database" would be where the "other noodle" text block currently resides? Should the section that talks of name brand funnoodle be cut and incorporate it into the "database"?--Lumpy!! 22:35, 18 July 2008 (EDT)

This page frightens me, because it implies that certain brands of funnoodle are always of a specific quality. The quality is different for each brand, but also for where it is bought and where it is used. For instance, here, "Pool Noodle" is better than "Wacky Noodle", but the reverse is true in other states, from what I hear. It has to do with elevation and how big the difference in it is from where it is now and where it was manufactured. If the noodle is made at sea-level and brought to an alpine mountain range, it will be stiff and inflexible. If noodle is made or purchased here in New Mexico, and then taken down to Texas, it goes all floppy and squishy. There is no absolute scale on this stuff. --Lurker 20:53, 23 February 2009 (EST)
