2012 Audit

Chapter contacted, awaiting response.--Lumpy!! 14:43, 19 July 2012 (EDT)

Response received from Kaleth Amnell:--Lumpy!! 23:39, 19 July 2012 (EDT)

  • Are you active? What is your average number of players locally per week?

As we are a group that meets primarily at college, our activity during the summer dwindles. If our members continue, it is with Mists of the Dawn in most cases, as it is closest. During the school year, we average about ten regular players, as well as three-five walk-ups and potential new players.

  • What days and times do you meet?

Our park time is Thursdays at 7:00 pm

  • What park do you meet in, city and state? Can you give directions or a physical address?

We meet on the St. Cloud State campus parks in St. Cloud, MN.

  • Who is your leadership? Can we have and post their contact information?

Our current leadership lies within Artemis J. Entfield, the Sheriff, and Kaleth Amnell, the Prime Minister. Other leadship positions are currently unoccupied.

  • What is your heraldry? Do you have a jpeg or other image file we can upload to the wiki?

We do have heraldry, but I do not have the file any longer. I will have to acquire it at another time.

  • Have you taken a recent group photo of your chapter? Can we have a copy?

No, as our group changes a lot, it has been difficult to get a photo.

  • Do you have an example of your chapter's heraldry in use, as a favor, garb, banner, or similar?

No.

  • When was your chapter founded? By whom?

Our application was sent in on February 23th, and accepted on March 15th. Kaleth Amnell, co-founded with Artemis J. Entfield.

  • Do you have traditions or games that you would say define your chapter?

We play a particularly high amount of themed battlegames. The majority of our games are done with full classes. Typically, there has been a roleplay element over them, linking each battlegame together. Whether or not this will continue is unsure, but the heavy use of battlegames is likely to remain.

  • Do you have an active forum, facebook groups, or mailing list? Can you give us links?

We have a facebook group called St. Cloud State LARP Society. It coordinates our Amtgard freehold as well as other LARPs our members are involved with, as it was initially a school club.

  • Have you had any news organizations do any pieces on your chapter in the last two years?

Yes, our college paper did an article on us, but it was biased trash that used fake quotes and made-up information, so I will refrain from sharing it.

  • What have you been doing to attract new players?

We utilize our location, which is the center of campus, which has exceptionally high foot traffic. We also put up a stand and demonstration to attract incoming freshmen and other members during two major "club" signing events on campus.

  • Has anything happened in the last year that you would like included in your history?

Our freehold was formed. Nothing else of note has occurred yet.
