Range

The distance within which a given effect (i.e. verbal magic, Extraordinary abilities) will be effective. Note that, unless otherwise specified, the target of ranged effects must remain in sight of the ability's user/caster in order to take effect.
Not to be confused with "ranged" weapons, i.e. projectiles.
