History
It is a point to be made that this organization stands to keep the masses entertained in clean, fulfilling strategy and engaging activity. Our field stands open to all. The idea is for one to drop their feelings at the door and to delve into a world that can help them to separate and have fun. No judgments are made on the field. It's all about the game.
Beginning in the rolling hills of Kilgore, Mechia is a clan of raw fighters making their way in the realm of Amtgard. Starting with an ambitious Anomaly Stratic looking beyond the lines of his own box to his peers for a good fight of strategy, dignity, and release from a hard day's existence, Mechia has grown in its community and finds itself well in depth of training as a family all in its own. "Though you are defeated, you can rise from it just like a Phoenix!"
It began one hot Summer and brewed in Anomaly's back yard when Jason Maric supplied a group of bored youths with foam weapons encased in mass amounts of duct tape. Enthused by the idea of total pwnage of one another without actually dying, the group was hooked. Anomaly, Dimitry Todd, Jason Maric, and Kewee Ravyn began to frequent these illegitimate sources of foam as a summer past time. It wasn't much time to lapse before Anomaly had presented the idea of Amtgard, him having had experience in past years at college with it, to this group. Thus spread the word and soon enough Cal Firious was on board, followed by the later listed members who came to be known as Frost, Zephyr, The Wraith, Uther, Lynnia Aofie, and Chexy.
Time soon passed and the wayward group had started to get notice. A nearby kingdom of Neverwinter was currently in the process of have a principality named Winter's Edge rise in numbers to become a kingdom. In their efforts Winter's Edge noticed the group of nomads and so on living in the nearby hills. Contact was soon achieved and over time plans to join with them were started.
