Meatball, of Empire's Grove, Goldenvale

”EEEEEHEHEHE EEHEE HEEEEHEHEHE HEH HEHEE HEHEHEE EEHEEHEEEEEE”

Meatball exhibits volatile and aggressive behavior after consuming Minotaur flesh.
Meatball savors the flesh of a Roman God.

Origin

Some speculate that Meatball is an image from outside time, before the existence of beasts and men, and perhaps, even, before the Gods. In the cold, infinite abyss that both precedes the universe and will mark its end, comes an imperceptible nodule. A single cell jumps in and out of being, cheating the laws of reality with a primordial hunger, and a colossal will. A catastrophe triggers the start of a new universe, Meatball, enabling it to secure a foothold on reality. For billions of years floats Meatball, witnessing the birth and the death of many stars with indifference, entering what would soon come to be called the Virgo Supercluster of galaxies. As if caught on a string, it begins to accelerate linearly towards a singular position with a defiant speed that forces even the space around it to split and groan. It hones in on the arm of a single spiral galaxy, towards the third rock lazily curving around a warm, yellow star. A deafening shriek, followed by a crumbling noise is heard as Meatball, in its haste, pierces through the orb, dislodging a portion of this rock into the surrounding space. For the first time, Meatball undergoes a change; an infinitesimal portion of its tiny body detaches, and glides back to settle on this rock. Where goes hunger and will, so shall life shall follow.

Biography

-WORK IN PROGRESS-

"We had been hearing about reports of a strange creature entering the area as early as eight-score years ago; for generations, peasants in the area had folk-tales and legends about

Meatball is typically manifested in the form of a humanoid, and looks as if he's made of fresh ground meat. He is generally of a good disposition in his neutral, unfed state. He will often have evidence of a recent encounter somewhere on his body; leaves, sticks, fur, bite marks, gashes, human hair, and severe burns are extremely common. When he feeds, his outer flesh becomes abnormally supple, and has a tendency to clean and replenish itself by extruding foreign bodies still lodged in his body. This happens only when he consumes the flesh of a creature made of flesh and bone. Research suggests that a different end is achieved upon exposure to the blood (or essence) of an enemy,
