Macramé is the technique or art of producing an elaborately patterned lace-like webbing made of hand-knotted cord, yarn, or the like, and used for wall decorations, hanging baskets, garments, and accessories. It is a common technique used in Amtgard to create macrame belts, an alternative to standard leather belts.
