Axis Sonsoar

Born in Rome Italy to a young parish priest and his wife in the early eleventh century A.D.

At a young age he was shunned by the other children in response he turned to his father who in turn pointed him to the father in heaven instead of helping him through his pain he pointed him to one who he did not know and at the time could not trust so Axis turned his back on the ways of his father and joined the Knights Templar on the first crusade he was seventeen at the time.

Five years later Axis Sonsoar returned to Rome to find his father dead his mother grieving his mind broke for two years he fought just to survive.

At the age of twenty four his mind came back to him and he realized that his life of war was not justifiable by any stretch of the imagination for over a year he searched for the answer the why of life how to give it not take it.

Five months after he turned twenty-five Axis Sonsoar out of money and at his wits end stumbled into a Christian abbey at sunset in northern Italy half dead. In the morning a monk found him nearly frozen and gently picked him up and brought him inside. over the next two months the monk nursed him back to health.

When Axis could speak he asked the monk why he was helping the monk simply replied “grace”

Over the next month as Axis healed he helped where he could, in the garden, in the wash room where ever he could. Through the weeks Axis continued to ask why and the monk continued to answer “grace” as this continued Axis grew continually more frustrated and during the third month he snapped and screaming at the monk he asked “WHAT DOES ‘GRACE’ MEAN” the monk simply stated “now you are ready.” He brought Axis into the sanctuary and showed him Bible and said “do you know what this is?” Axis fell to his knees, all of the lessons his father taught him about Jesus of Nazareth the savior of the world came flooding back into his mind he put his hand on the Bible the source of all the stories he had turned his back on so long ago and he remembered. “yes.” was all he could say he sat there and the monk sat with him for three hours they sat together and Axis simply cried.
