The park is home to a 300+ year old live oak tree, a small English tutor-style cottage, a lichgate (a gate between the living and the dead), a vegetable garden, a shakespeare garden, a meditation labyrinth, and several little faerie houses. We could not be more thankful that the caretakers of the park have offered up their land as a meeting place for us. The park welcomes visitors from dawn till dusk if you wish to scout out the location before a meeting, we only ask one thing, please show respect. If you visit Lichgate in the interest or name of Daemon Shire we ask that you please respect this historical landmark. Please no climbing the tree and if you bring anything to the park, please remember to bring it back home with you. As long as you follow these simple rules the caretakers of Lichgate are more than welcoming to all visitors. If you happen to meet one of the caretakers we highly recommend that you ask them for a little tour of the place. | |
