Mundane Biography
Darque joined Amtgard in 2000 as a founding member of the now-defunct Shire of Sanctuary Hill, migrating to the Duchy of Wavehaven shortly thereafter. Left for college in 2002, happening across the then-Shire of Crimson Wood shortly after it was founded. Dropped off the Amtgard map in 2005 to join the United States Air Force, having been stationed in the one town in mundane Texas without an Amtgard land. Has since made sporadic appearences at the Barony of Nine Willows and the Duchy of Irongate. Rejoined the world in June 2009 by way of a move to the Kingdom of the Iron Mountains; specifically the Crown Lands.

Persona History
Born on Erin in Patrick's time to an Irish woman and a marauder with the blood of the fair folk in his veins, Darren took as his surname the epithet his mother's tribe called his father, "Black Bane." Young Darren's wanderings around Europe led him to hone his fae gifts into an accomplished healer's talent; lingering too long in France led to the nickname "D'Arque." Later adopted as a man-at-arms, he took his patron's surname for his own, striving to live up to his knight's talent, his mother's heart and his father's cunning.
