Biography
Desari was an early member of the Golden Plains, serving as its second Vizier. She played an important role in the group in 1990, when the Burning Lands ruled that Kingdom contracts with Amtgard, Inc, would no longer apply to subsidiary lands; for the first time, each individual land of Amtgard would have to sign its own contract. Many members of the Golden Plains were outraged, or reluctant to sign a legally-binding document, and there was actually widespread discussion about splitting away from Amtgard and forming a new game. Desari and Baron Dustin Darkenmane spent untold hours communicating with the Emerald Hills and the Burning Lands, gaining repeated assurances that this wasn't some sort of power play, and were gradually able to put these fears to rest among the group. There might not be a Kingdom of the Golden Plains today if it hadn't been for Desari's patience and persistence or her discreet handling of the matter.
