Biography
AKA Jeff Patterson
Active in the Golden Plains (and to a much lesser extent, the Emerald Hills) in the late 1980's, when the Plains was still a Shire, and later, in its early days as a Barony. Maccalus entered the U.S. military on full-time active duty in 1990, and while stationed overseas in Germany, started a military chapter, the Vales of MistWinter, which presumably folded due to military deployments in the wake of Operation Desert Storm. Maccalus was inactive in Amtgard for a decade before returning to the fold and helping Jayden co-found the Freehold of Five Banners in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2007. Maccalus served as that Freehold's first Chief from 2007-2008.
Maccalus' full name is Lord Maccalus Valerius Triarius Magnus, of the Stellatina tribe, a Roman citizen of Briton and Hispanian parentage. He is more commonly known as Maccalus Caerwent Ex, (a reference to his city of origin), Mac Daddy, Big Mac, Maczizzle, or simply "Maccalus." In his time he's also answered to, "Hey you," "Dude," and much worse!
