Text
Hello Hydra, my old friend
The time for war has come again
Evil armies have come creeping
To usurp a righteous king.
But it was peasants who endured the brunt of the pain,
so the call came
And the cry, was for Alliance.
A single runner trekked alone
Down narrow roads of cobblestone
The bitter air was cold and damp
As he entered the quiet camp
When his eyes saw a banner bathed in light
All green and white
And he knew he'd found Alliance.
And it was there that he saw
heroes led by lords of war.
The runner pleaded for his king
and the innocents who were dying:
He said, “The armies of evil are will slay us without a care,
and no ones dares,
To stand and fight, but Alliance.”
We took the field calm and slow.
The evil army made their show.
Their feet were slow and our stabs reached through.
They routed as our swords struck true.
And our blows, like a thundering torrent fell.
And echoed, the name, Alliance.
And their army bowed and prayed
Their armor torn, their banners frayed.
And as they broke and fled, turning
The mighty hydra issued its warning
And it said, “the stories of this battle will echo in the tavern halls
And on Facebook walls,
For all do know, the name Alliance.”
