Biography
I started Amtgard in 1988. I attended a warrior practice at Barony of Tanglewood. My first home park was the Barony of Ironcloud. My first fighting company was on that I helped co found. That fighting company was Morgorach. After a few years I joined the army and headed to fort Hood. I later founded a group there and named it after the fighting company I was a part of. Thus the Barony of Morgorach was formed approx 1992. With no Amtgard groups close we attempted to play with the HSF groups in Austin. Later The Celestial Kingdom was formed and the Barony of Morgorach was now founded as an official member of the CK. While in CK at this time Sir Michael Hammer of God asked me to be one of his Squires.
Shortly after this I was sent to Germany by the US Army. I then founded the Shire/Barony/Dutchy of the Silver Oak in Darmstadt Germany. This was a great group composed of several small Shire/Baronies in the area. The names I still remember are Barony of Silver Brook and the Barony of Unter Wald. Later on Logan T. Black was also stationed in Darmstadt and on my team. He soon joined us and the group really took off again with even more growth with both the Germans and the local military. Logan T. Black was crowned the first Prince when we became a principality. Later on after Logan stepped down I was crowned as Prince of the Silver oak. Sometime after my term as Prince ended I left for the states again back to Texas.
- A most notable event occurred in which the principality of the Silver Oak had a great working relation with a local castle in Darmstadt. The castle Frankenstein. We held Quest at the castle even rented it out at one point.
Soon after I returned and got back and was able to assist with the rebirth of the fighting company Morgorach in CK. The company had many great members and did really well. Eventually for some reasons the company dissolved again. I was Knighted (Serpent)and awarded the Title of Count By The Celestial Kingdoms Monarch Logan T. Black. Over the next few years I took on several Squires that all showed promise in the Arts and Sciences.
Loric, Talon, Gernot, Teth, Mythrallicus and Trevar. So far Talon, Gernot and Trevor has left Amtgard. Teth has been Knighted (Knight of the Serpent)and Loric and Mythrallicus are my two current active squires.
I have recently helped found the fighting company Disciples here in CK.
I am proud to say that I have roots in the Emerald Hills, Celestial Kingdom and the Principality of the Silver Oak.
