About
Officially Founded: August 20th 2008, the Order of Peasants & Surfs is dedicated to the inclusion of new members and to their advancement. All members will have full status and voting rights until they are knighted, when they will be forced to resign to emeritus status.
The Order is not a fighting company but a Social Group intent on the retention of new members.
It is our belief that knighthood is a worthy goal to be sought after and thus there should be advantages in obtaining such. The Order is designed to support knighthood while promoting those who are not.
The mission of OoPS is as follows:
To assist new members in character development, garb, weapon building, armour building, and class choice.
To help train the new players in Amtgard.
To help new players find fighting companies.
To promote accomplishments of the unknighted.
To help the unknighted that wish to become belted find a knight to guide them in this endeavour.
To act as a lobby to help keep the non-knighted classes strong and viable, while not diminishing the knighted classes, in the event that this becomes necessary.
