MaGhoul

Biography

MaGhoul became an Amtgarder back in 2001 at the age of eighteen. I remember this only because I could sign my own waiver the first day. After having spent my whole childhood pretend fighting with sticks, and most of my Teenage years playing D&D and really fighting with sticks, the thought of a game like Amtgard was the most wonderful thing I could imagine. So I started the first week it came to my ears. I have held all four offices at my local park, some of which on multiple occasions. Although, my terms as Monarch {Sheriff/Baron} did not end well.

There have been a number of occasions where I chose to altogether stop coming to amtgard. Usually because of disagreements with fellow players, but my latest choice for leaving stemmed mostly from finding out that I have a "Bad Back" {the hard way} and had to stop doing what I love the most about amtgard: Fighting {this being said, a "stick-jock" I am not. Good fighter, yes, very much so in my day, but I am so totally a "flurb" and mechs are seriously retarded, greaves are about as hard to make as bracers, and camp foam makes good enough knee padding}. I can still do a little sparring here and there, but not for any long length of time, and I can't really fight to my fullest without taking unnecessary risks that my family cannot afford. That's not to mention that anyone who has thrown out their back can sympathize with the amount of pain associated with it.

But now, MaGhoul is back, this time playing as MaGhoul ThaGhoul's son, Junior who recently ended his own father's once thought to be eternal life. MaGhoul II is the God-King of the Necropolis Portal World of Randallium, Pirate, and Treasurer of the Eternal Order of Darkness. Normally, I wouldn't like to RP a "god" character, but since I can't really play, I must Reeve, and everyone knows that Reeves are gods in battlegames. So, at least I know I will never be on the losing team of a battlegame again...

Although I'm a loyal member of the EOD, I did spend a short time with The Peregrine Guard. I was First Mate under Captain Silvermoon of the Arcadia. I even drove the 6 hours once to attend an event just west of St. Louis with the rest of my crew mates. I also did the base book binding on the Articles of Agreement. I have no idea what happened to those, but I think Admiral Silverleaf has it.

On the Roleplay side, my goals are fairly simple: Destroy all foxes and the like, Live and Love Pirateyness, Kitsune Genocide [Henceforth Kitsunocide], and Drink Tastylicious Rum and other alcoholic beverages {I am seriously a lightweight since the only time I drink is at amtgard events, so I must keep my thirst in check...not hard for a usually non-drinker}.
