In the mid 2000's, The Shire of Three Rivers fell to disarray and eventually dwindled to nothing, due to a combination of in-fighting, location changes, and innumerable other problems. A few of the members convened in the summer of 2007, assembling the necessary paperwork and reforming the land under the banner of Dark Shores. The Shire later struggled with a severe decline in attendance that fall, falling dormant in October until mid-spring, when they resumed playing every other Sunday. Over the next year the Shire saw the return of old members, and acceptance into the newly founded Principality of Olympus. In late November of 2008, Dark Shores began playing every week, and underwent an immense improvement in organization and structure. Since then, the chapter has continued to grow and develop, introducing crown Quals in early 2010.
