History
The Kingdom of the Golden Plains was the fourth Amtgard Kingdom in 1992 (1 month before the Iron Mountains), founded in Amarillo Texas in 1987. Golden Plains first baronial coronation was held September 2nd of 1989, a delegation from the Burning Lands was in attendance.
Directions to GP Proper
The Golden Plains meets Sunday Afternoon, 3:00 P.M. at Memorial park, Washington St, behind Amarillo College.
Directions from I-27: Take Washington Street exit. Go North on Washington Street. There will be signs indicating Amarillo College on the east (right) side of the street. The park is on the south side of the college.
Directions from I-40: Take Washington Street exit. Go South on Washington Street. There will be signs indicating Amarillo College on the east (left) side of the street. The park is on the south side of the college.
