Autumn Skywynter ~ Duchy of Pegasus Valley, Kingdom of Dragonspine
”SEXUAL TENSION...?”
Biography
Autumn Skywynter started playing Amtgard in the Shire of the Shining Dogs (Portales, NM) in the summer of 2003. Autumn started as a very fat man portraying a dragon wizard named Draco Windweaver. He took to fighting (favoring the polearm) and quickly maxed his levels in the Monk class. He made a reputation for having a bad attitude and no honor on the battlefield.
He moved to the Duchy of Pegasus Valley (Albuquerque, NM) in the Winter of 2004. Wanting to establish a new reputation for himself in the game, he changed his name to Redd Valentine and played there for four years. He began fighting exclusively with double short swords and played Wizard almost exclusively. While he had changed his name, he still exhibited negative behaviors which gave the club a bad name. Having wrestled his entire life with severe gender identity issues, he at last made the decision to begin the process of sexual reassignment. He went on a 1 1/2 year hiatus from Amtgard in the fall of 2007.
In the winter of 2008 he returned, 200 pounds slimmer and having made the transition from male to female. Having once again reinvented herself, she took the name Autumn symbolizing the season of change and the harvest, as she could now reap the results of her hard work. She showed a drastic improvement in attitude and battlefield honor, but though she was healthier and quicker of foot, she still held to her trademark florentine combo.
She immediately resumed her membership status in Pegasus Valley and continues to serve and play there to this day.
