Biography

Sir Kelsar was an active member of the HFS from 1996 until roughly 2007.

He has held office in the City-State of Drandmir several times, and was very active within that kingdom until he moved away from the Austin area and retired in 2007, having received knighthood in the Order of the Flame, Drandmir's art and science award. During his life in the HFS, Kelsar focused most of his energy into collecting and producing art and lore for his local group. He is largely responsible for the early storyline of the City-State of Drandmir, as well as recording and editing the kingdom's fictional history and geography, which he collected ino a detailed map and historical record with the help of Sir Kalen and Sir Kharas of Drandmir.

Kelsar was a passionate defender of Drandmir's autonomy and isolation, believing that the individual chapters of HFS functioned best without the intervention of outside moderators. He encouraged officers to maintain a certain distance from inter-kingdom councils and politics of any kind, and was an early critic of the Combined Realms Rulebook plan, which would eliminate the kingdom-to-kingdom variation of fighting rules. As an officer, he strove to make art and role-play the centerpiece of Drandmir's culture, and occassionally succeeded.
