Originally dubbed Zander Waxworth, he amended his name to be Zanzer Waxworth circa 2022 as a means of distinguishing himself apart from the more common name as well as to invoke the whimsical nature of the character.

Zanzer of line, devil or fae,
Waxworth of his mother's craft,
Born at the brink of Ether's bay,
Sword held firmly by the haft,
Flicker like flame by light of day,
And in night, as though a draft.
