Discovered Amtgard in Fall 2022 at Kumoricon, an anime convention. Before she was even called Poppy, she was called 'Miss Murder' for the ferocity of her fighting. Immediately upon returning home, she joined Seaside Keep, a fledgling freehold in Vancouver. In the coming months, she would visit the nearby kingdom of Northern Lights and gain much perspective of the scale of Amtgard and make a handful of allies. Poppy initially studied bajiquan, majorly incorporating the spear arts and footwork. By Fall 2023, she's mostly moved towards a RedSword style based on bel/dag Blademasters, using both longs and greatswords in this pursuit.
