Stab-Only
Any Striking Tip on a weapon may be built to be Stab-Only.
- A Stab-Only Striking Tip requires at least 6” of Slash-Legal Padding extending down the length of the weapon on all sides of the core. This cannot be reduced by Heavy or Super Heavy Padding. (Reminder: Stab-Only tips can only be used to Stab. This padding is to protect against the higher-than-normal chance of incidental contact.)
- If a weapon has both regular striking tips and stab-only tips they must not be arranged in such a way that creates a risk of striking a player with a non-striking surface when the weapon is used to slash.
- A weapon that is entirely Stab-Only can replace all other required Slash-Legal Padding with [[V9: Incidental Padding| (other than the Strike-Legal required for the Stab-Only tips).
- These weapons must still meet all other minimum padding requirements for its type.
