Lord NeonDevil of the Shire of the Desert Moon
Biography
Introduced to Amtgard in 1994 under the name 'Sabbath' [1] during high school while participating primarily at Shadowvale (Alamogordo, NM) with peppered participation at Burning Lands (El Paso, TX), Dragonspine (Las Crucas, NM), and Clan until 1996.
Upon attending college, NeonDevil had partial participation at Pegasus Valley (Albuquerque, NM) from years 1996 to 1998 under an unknown Amtgard name.
While moving to Roswell, NM during the summer of 1998, NeonDevil unsuccessfully attempted to establish an Amtgard Chapter.
While moving to Reno, NV during 1999, NeonDevil had partial success to create an Amtgard chapter, resulting in minimal results during attendance trials to attempt contract submittal. Sometime in 2000, NeonDevil co-founded the Western Dragon Hills chapter at Carson City, NV with Richard 'Yhamish' Wilson and later successfully founded the Desert Moon chapter at Reno, NV in 2002.
Not soon after the several practices in the new Reno chapter, NeonDevil established the Ashigaru Fighting Company with goals and objectives to improve the quality of players and games on the battlefield while also providing a fun, entertaining, and unique Amtgard experience. [2]
With controversy, NeonDevil led a petition [3] [4] against the officers of Western Dragon Hills to determine the accountability of offenders for multiple rules violations during the 2001-2004 reigns. The petition ultimately resulted in the dissolution of the WDH, which was later re-established as Fal Dare in 2005 with Mother of the North.
After 2006, NeonDevil participates in Amtgard at a minimal level, only funding and maintaining the Nevada Amtgard, AmtRatings!, and Records Database websites with hopes to increase awareness and participation levels. NeonDevil also provides support for chapters in the Northern Nevada areas.
Now, NeonDevil participates in other Combat Sports.
