Biography
Strix joined Amtgard at a campout with freehold Seaside Keep in Squamish BC on June 16th 2023. He was accompanying his partner Fen, who’d already joined, and didn’t really expect to enjoy it, but something inside him was either broken, or fixed, when he was handed a foam sword.
Several months went by, and he devoured a lot of YouTube videos, started obsessing over sword building, and foam fighting techniques.
Shortly after Seaside Keep was accepted into Northern Lights, Fen and Strix moved to Qualicum Beach BC, where they founded Lost Cove.
In early 2024, Strix attended SKBC in Las Vegas where he really started to drill into how he wanted to fight.
At NLCC Spring, Strix joined the Crucible Fighting Company.
Strix continued to travel to Seaside Keep to participate in (and win) a few of their local tournaments, and participated in a few NL warskills tournaments as well.
After Lost Cove was adopted into the Kingdom of Northern Lights, Strix took an At-Arms belt from Sir Rafael at Fall Classic September 6th 2024.
