Flat blade page layout

Hey, I was the person who put up that cleanup template a few days ago on the top of the Flat blade page. I went through and added dozens at a time to a number of other pages. I didn't mean to insult any of the editors of the page with the description; it was really more of a note to myself that of what I wanted to later edit on that page, since I've been doing a lot of editing lately.

I have once again added the template to the top of the page, this time with a less offensive and more accurate reason why I think the page needs to be "cleaned up". While the information on the page is very detailed and correct, the markup text that defines the layout could use tweaking. For example, the text is separated by large images, which elongates the page and makes the information more difficult to read. There are also no heading markers in the first half of the text, which the second half with your tutorial makes use of.

Let me know if this is an issue, or start a discussion on Talk:Flat blade. Ricken (talk) 18:00, 6 April 2016 (EDT)

Beltline Subcategories

Sir Terarin,

I've been adding several squires, persons-at-arms, and whatnot to your beltline to reflect current changes, and I noticed that other beltlines, once they get too big, have an interesting feature where the template is, wholly or partly, a link to other templates. At what point would you consider it appropriate or necessary to use additional templates? I am referring specifically to Sindari's line, as that's what I (selfishly) am working on. My suggested change would look something like this when editing your beltline template page:

  • Sir Terarin of Shadowdale, Last Prince of the Borderlands
    • Baroness Saint Jazzel Darkwolf

{{Sindari Beltline}}

etc.

Visually, it would look identical, except for in the talk page. Do you think this would be a helpful change, or unnecessary?

In service,
Squire Jerenda
