We generally avoid "X order of the Y" award listings here on the wiki. There are (at least) two schools of thought as to why.
Linden feels it's too easy to falsify. Anyone can edit the page, and few people are going to check if someone has 5 roses or 6.
Personally, I think that just about any time you're copy/pasting from ORK you're Doing It Wrong, but have been convinced to let "positions" slide, though I still tend to do things like condense consecutive terms.
Having said that exceptions are made for custom awards, or awards of particular note. Even then, such listings tend to lack a "1st/2nd/8th", stating the event and that it was recognized. "Spudly McSluffer got a 5th order of the Flurb and here's why" vs "Spudly McSluffer did this Really Cool thing and was recognized with an order of the Flurb". If one wanted to be particularly unassuming one could even list the event without mentioning the whole Award Thing.
PS: We'd really appreciate it if you'd create an account for yourself (so we know who to thank). Thank you mystery-person-that-is-probably-Marius. --Lucas 15:45, 29 October 2008 (EDT)
