The content policies determine the type and quality of material that is acceptable in AmtWiki articles. Because they complement each other, they should not be interpreted in isolation from one another. These policy pages may be edited only to improve the application and explanation of the principles.

Content
The written content of the articles directly about players, companies, and households is the final say of the subject of the article itself. Article content can be edited by other users, following AmtWiki's content policies, but any information may be removed without notice by the person(s) that is the article subject.
Point of view
Amtwiki covers a large number of types of articles, and the point of view of these articles will change depending on its content.
Main content
All encyclopedic content on AmtWiki must be written from a neutral point of view, which means representing fairly, proportionately, and, as far as possible, without editorial bias, all of the significant views on a topic.
Player, company, and household pages
Main article: AmtWiki:Player pages The point of view of these articles, unlike other articles on AmtWiki, is up to the sole descresion of the subject themselves. The information contained may be kept entirely based on recorded facts, or might be written from a personal point of view. Regardless of the point of view, the content must follow all AmtWiki content policies.
In their own words
AmtWiki has a special section devoted to recording historical opinions of Amtgardians, called "In their own words". These pages are entirely opinionated. Opinions must follow AmtWiki content policies.
