The Legend of the Phantom Reeve

The Phantom Reeve himself is a myth throughout the city-state of Stone Haven. There are laws prohibiting slaves fighting in the pit unsupervised so as to keep the citizens entertained another day but most of the slaves believe that it is because when two men enter the pit under the night sky, he will appear. Many men say that he haunts the fighting pits at night,filing the pit with smoke, reeves the matches himself and takes the souls of those who lose their battles within the bloody walls of the arena. Some within Stone Haven claim to have seen him. He is rumored to come in 2 forms. One of a man, a nobleman, wearing a skull mask that covers above the lip. His other form is usually taken right before he takes you. A horrid skeleton wearing a cloak made out of the souls he has taken. It is said they scream in agony as he takes you. The fortunate men able to see this scene are usually terrified to the brink of paralysis as the Phantom takes their fallen adversary.

SHADOW BATTLES

When the Phantom Reeve comes out to reeve these matches, he usually does this under his own rules. They have been called SHADOW BATTLES. They are usually singles matches but 2 on 2 have proven to be fine. Each Man starts with 5 lives each, the concept is a simple life out match with a few added rules in that when a player loses a life, they gain melee immunity on a certain spot on the body. The Order goes like this

• With all 5 lives in check, the player has no immunities
• After losing 1 life, the player no longer counts a hit from the knees down.
• After losing 2 lives, the player no longer counts a hit from the waist down.
• After losing 3 lives, the player no longer counts any hit from the stomach or lower arm down.
• After losing 4 lives, the player no longer counts any hit unless it is a shoulder shot

The illusion to this fight is that whenever the fighter loses a life, he becomes one with shadow as to prepare the fighter for the Phantom Reeve's dinner. So for every life lost, more of their body is becoming apart of the smoke and shadow making the other fighter unable to attack those spots. This doesn't hinder the losing fighter from using these parts of the body. Feel free to use this game in your area. Just give me the credit for originality.
