Lief is definitely one of the best fighters. There is no doubt about that, but really to say he's the likely the most influential? What is that based on? Really the most influential of the last decade is Spynthrift. Spyn was the reason many kingdoms went to Atomic Clock and is definitely large factor of Fun Noodle Tech catching on. That and you fight farrrrrr more people using Spyn techniques than Lief's. Now I'm not trying to down play Lief's contributions to the game, they are huge, but I just don't think that sentence is accurate. - Calidor

Suspension

In response to the criminal action of extortion, Lief McPayne is hereby banished from participation in Amtgard in the Empire of the Iron Mountains for a period of 1 year. Additionally, his Titles and belts of Knighthood are suspended indefinitely. Both sanctions are effective immediately. Said banishment term shall be considered served in full, and Lief shall be allowed to return to participating status upon the third weekend of January, 2010. His belts and titles may be reinstated by the petition and approval process of the Imperial Althing, as outlined in the Iron Mountains Corpora, after the banishment term has been served.
