There is no emotion, there is peace.

There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.

There is no passion, there is serenity.

There is no chaos, there is harmony.

There is no death, there is the Force.

—The Jedi Code (Based on the meditations of Odan-Urr)

Description

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, these wariors of piece and virtue were banished to this dimension by their evil counterparts, The Sith. These knights of the Galactic Republic wield glowing swords they call "Lightsabers" and use a type of sorcery they refer to as "The Force." They are honorable and just in there everlasting quest in this strange world where space travel is imposible to find a type of magic that can send them back home.

Garb

Jedi typicaly wear tan tunics with matching pants, leather belts and boots. They usualy wear brown hooded overcloaks that can be easily removed to do combat.

Essential Abilities

Lightsabers are known to be able to cut through anything (except amtgard weapons). Bladesharp/Bludgeon is a way to emphasize this. Shove is obviously a "Force Push," Jedi always face there oponents in an Honor Duel, Stun Weapon would be a way to subdue a prisioner rather than kill him and weak-minded enemies can reveal secrets via Talk to Dead. And Forcewall? Comeon, it has "Force" in the title.

Suggested Abilities

Any magic can be spun as a "Force Power." It is up to the imagination. But if your a purist avoid death-dealing and destructive magic. It is not the Jedi way.

Role-Playing Notes

Remember that Jedi do not belong in this world. Everything is strange to them and people won't know what a Starcruiser or a Droid is if you bring them up, but they are wise enough to get along. Jedi use their power for knowledge and defence, never attack. They will always try and negotiate and show mercy to prisioners. When they do fight, its always face-to-face and honorable.

Weaponry

Jedi only fight with swords. Short, long and double-sided staffs are ideal. The blades should be brightly colored. Green and blue are standard but lightsabers have been known to come in a wide variety of colors such as yellow, orange or purple. The handle should be silver with a small red "button" on it. Those around you are encouraged to act mezmerized or intimidated when you draw this weapon.
