How to make dryer ball magic balls
From AmtWiki
by Arrakis
Materials and Tools Needed
- Dryer balls with a listed diameter of 2.7" or greater (you want some buffer on the listed dimension)
- Cloth. Poly-cotton broadcloth and quilting cotton are both generally good choices, but anything works, really.
- Soft hair elastics
- measuring tools (yardstick, quilting ruler, ruled cutting mat, etc.)
- cutting tools
Instructions
Stretch out the hair elastic and wrap it up snug around the tail as close to the ball as you can. I like to do the first pass or two from the ball side rather than the tail side, to ensure I get the elastic snug as can be. Wrap the elastic over and over, twisting it a half turn each time as usual, until you can't take another pass.
