Biography

Mundane Name: Aingel, call me anything else and get ignored! [Celtic spelling of messenger between deity and mortals] Amtgard Name: Angelica LeBorgne [Ryan named me Angelica, and LeBorgne is the noble family I hail from; Coat of Arms search pending] Started play October 1, 2009, and is still leveling and gearing up as an Assassin, using two short swords, at Ice Haven aka: Eau Claire, WI. Am able to fight with most weapons, however bows don't agree with the chest area and thrown objects don't go where told... but has a rather lethal sneak attack, more-so in larger class battles. Right now stands as a well proportionate female of 5'6" 270LB of attitude, sometimes that's happy by the way; having many facets of golden auburn and honey brown hair tones; hazel eyes, gray blue to olive green to mud brown; summer tones are more light bronze with nearly olive white skin in winter, thus the Irish and Sicilian heritage fight for whom shows up more in the natural occurring looks. Amtgard has saved the sanity of both this warrior & her true love more then once, for the exercise is exhausting and the commendatory is amazing...friends in several states and all sharing the same love of war! I can't stop bragging about how much I truly love playing, and begging people to join! When garb is finally finished, this mighty fighting photographer will be dressed in light weight leather and fur during the summer, heaver thicker when in the snow. The Character design is based on a fantasy set of individuals from the John Norman books so dearly loved by many, as John writes about Gor. They are of the female warrior type, (think like the Amazon clans from Earth's own history), wearing the hides and skins of native animal; carrying bows and spears, fighting with swords and staffs as needed; rarely relying on a male for anything; where independence is very importance; and the only ones they really care about are those in their pack (immediate circle of female friends) or their own children (which it is rarely heard of them having one). They keep to the northern forests leaving the cites for the men to rule and keeping them from taking over their home. (In general, the men are not so kind to such woman unless trading or doing other business, but it is best found out why by reading) To say more about them would spoil the joy of reading the books, and while they are of a genera that has a acquired flavor, especially after they start to repeat themselves often, the over-all picture and story is a good one, & I do encourage those over 15 to take a look.
