Zero has never put much stock into gaining recognition at amtgard when he attends events, rather seeks to learn from fighters he considers to be more skillful then himself. It should be noted that Zero Crane is widely regarded as one of the most skilled boffer fighters in the State of Oklahoma. Zero is the only MELEE citizen to win the provincial warlord title twice. Zero is also the only MELEE citizen who has ever won more than two championship tourneys (6 in total), and the only MELEE citizen to win two or more consecutive champions tournaments (3 in a row).
