Multi-Ended Weapons

Any melee weapon may have multiple segments and have multiple Striking Tips. In these instances, the following rules apply:

  1. Each segment of a multi-ended weapon that is intended to slash and stab must be Strike-Legal for at least 1/3 of the weapon’s length or 18”, whichever is less, starting from the Striking Tip and moving inwards. If the Strike-Legal Padding merges before the required amount is reached, the area of merged padding counts towards both segments.
  2. Segments intended to Stab-Only must be Strike-Legal for at least 6” and follow the rules for Stab-Only Striking Tips (see above).
  3. These weapons must still meet all other minimum requirements for its type.
