I have placed you with admin Privileges- this will help you with all the changes you have been making, and to those I wish to say thank you very much, you are doing a wonderful job. - Crispin 14:39, 6 December 2014 (EST)

Welcome to AmtWiki! Player pages and user pages are not the same thing; I suggest you move yours to a new page. I see Hiro is taken by another member, but Hiro Matsuzaka free. There are no restrictions on user pages, so if you want to keep this page how it is you can feel free. Ricken 01:19, 12 February 2015 (EST)

Thank you for the information. Since your suggestion and help on creating a page, I've had no issues since. Again, thank you. Hiro--Hiro 18:47, 21 March 2015 (EDT)

You've been making a lot of very useful edits on AmtWiki recently. Thanks for your work! Ricken 15:21, 21 March 2015 (EDT)

Thank you. Stuck at work and unable to Amtgard today, so at least I can make myself useful to my Kingdom. Hiro--Hiro 18:47, 21 March 2015 (EDT)

Did the BL monarchy request the removal of personal emails? If you are working to update their emails the each persons preferred method of contact, that's fine, but some might prefer that inquiries be set to their personal email since it's checked more often. Ricken 23:39, 22 March 2015 (EDT)

I was given directions from Sir Caliana de Stael to do that and also talk to the current BL monarchy and BoD about who does want their personal email up. It may take some time, but everyone in our monarchy and BoD will have an Amtgard email, once I fix the main website for BL. Lurker is to not interfere with my progress as per Sir Caliana de Stael. At least on this matter. We've got a bit of a SNAFU with that, but it should be worked out. I wouldn't bother Lurker about it.--Hiro 00:06, 23 March 2015 (EDT)

Alright, thanks for clarifying your intent. If Sir Caliana is authorizing this, I'll let you carry on. Thanks for doing the updating. Ricken 00:23, 23 March 2015 (EDT)

Heya Ricken, out of the loop for a little but I'm back. Why was the Sky Harbor People page deleted? Daedera 18:31, 23 March 2015 (EDT)

The discussion page asked for it to be deleted. I assumed that it was created in error instead of Category:Sky_Harbor_People, which was created shortly after. (Do people get notifications if I answer questions here instead of their own talk page? I've always wondered that.) Ricken 18:36, 23 March 2015 (EDT)

I only got one notification, so I don't believe I get a notification from your talk page. I also checked and saw that there was still the other Sky Harbor People page, you just responded too fast for me to comment. ;) Thanks! Daedera 18:58, 23 March 2015 (EDT)

How goes it? I have no clue how to update the news page, but I would like to see that Clan for Burning Lands is added to the list of stuff on the AmtWiki page. I know that it will be going on from July 22-26, and will be held at Ruidoso, NM. Can you make that happen?--Hiro 15:52, 24 March 2015 (EDT)

Heyya, I saw your note to Ricken about Clan, Clan is listed on the front page. You can see it under Events/Major Events for the wiki page. There is also a link to the facebook page in the Upcoming Events section.

Hope to see you there! BlackBart 21:02, 24 March 2015 (EDT)Black Bart

I see BlackBart has already answered your query. We put upcoming events in two places on the wiki, here on the main page and here on the "Current Events" link in the left-hand nav. I did notice the current location is incorrect, so I'll change that. If the BL makes a Facebook event for this year's Clan, let me know so we can update it, or go ahead and link it yourself. 17:04, 25 March 2015 (EDT)

Welcome to Amtwiki! I suggest using the "Show Preview" button at the bottom to check your edits before finalizing your revision. I'm also going to take your beltline edits and move them to a template and transclude it on the page. It will look the same, but then when the template is fixed it will update every page of every member of the beltline. Ricken (talk) 23:33, 31 March 2015 (EDT)

Not sure if I'm using this talk feature correctly. This is my first venture into wiki and I'm learning as I go. Thank for the template. I have to get with Stink tomorrow to finalize the list. Once it's a template, how will updates be submitted, when needed?Flow 00:10, 1 April 2015 (EDT)

You seem to be doing just fine. You can edit the beltline here at Template:Stinkfoot_Beltline. I'm adding it to all the beltline member's pages now. If you have any questions in the future, just ask on my talk page. Also, have you seen the help section? It's going through updates but a lot of info is already there. Ricken (talk) 00:49, 1 April 2015 (EDT)

When you ask him about the beltline, could you also inquire about Havoc Silverheart? He seems to be Kardore's squire but I don't have much information about him. Ricken (talk) 00:55, 1 April 2015 (EDT)

Havock is inactive and no longer belted. There are several changes that will need to be made. It still lists Shalazar as a squire under ACM, for example, and he was knighted a while back. I'll get them in some time today.Flow 13:28, 1 April 2015 (EDT)

Thanks for updating that. I took everyone from AMC's lineage straight from her page with no guarantees on accuracy. Ricken (talk) 14:30, 1 April 2015 (EDT)

Hey you!

I thought I'd drop in and say hello. See what I can help you with.

I wasn't entirely gone. Things got busy at my work and so I just hadn't been on. I always intended to come back. These days I have an immense amount of time (got laid off) so if you'd like to collaborate I am happy to do so. I'm happy to help you on any ongoing project you have going on. Zell Faze (Talk) 18:24, 11 April 2015 (EDT)

I have found often things happen for vague and mysterious reasons. We severely need to update to the newest version of Mediawiki and install ParserFunctions. I am surprised that we still haven't. I would actually really like to meet Crispin and the others IRL and find out whats up. I think something like the Teahouse is a good idea. Definitely involve me in the discussions. I don't use Facebook, but if you guys are emailing or discussing on-wiki please pop me into the conversation. If you would like to talk in person, I will be at Crystal Grove's Feast of Fools later this week. Zell Faze (Talk) 23:07, 11 April 2015 (EDT)
On a related note, I'm still happy to develop the subtitle extension, and I would also be happy to install or assist with installing a better Captcha system. The one we have right now is actually good enough, but the questions need changed. For the type of Captcha system we have to work there needs to be a large pool of questions that can be easily answered, but can't be easily Google'd and there needs to be a fair amount of churn in the questions. Otherwise someone will just do as they have done here and figure out the answer to all of the questions and write their bot to just answer them. Zell Faze (Talk) 23:18, 11 April 2015 (EDT)
Excellent. I'll make sure to pay him a visit. I'd love to meet the guy in person and I think an in-person discussion will yield a lot for us both. If/when they make the upgrade to a newer version of Mediawiki and install ParserFunctions I also have a list of other suggestions for settings that could be changed at the same time on my notes page. I wish they did communicate on-wiki, but I understand why they don't. I'm not familiar with exCOM; what/who are they? I think those restrictions on merchant pages are reasonable. I hope that the restrictions on Talk Pages are only regarding customer feedback and reviews. Talk pages should still be open to those with suggestions on how to improve the page. I'm not a huge fan of restricting the merchant pages to only Merchants and Admins, but I can see why merchants might be. It bothers me because it isn't really the wiki way. Anything I can do to help implement this, please let me know. Zell Faze (Talk) 00:17, 12 April 2015 (EDT)
Also I noticed on your todo list you mention the HFS pages. I asked Crispin about these once (after he stopped me from mass deleting them, which was a thing I tried to do once). He told me that they are around because there are a few people (very vague as to who) that would get very upset if they were deleted and he didn't want to step on toes. Personally I think they should go. Zell Faze (Talk) 00:30, 12 April 2015 (EDT)

Improper use of redirects?

Hi Ricken.

This land "Darkwater_(New Mexico)" has a long and interesting history with many name changes that has spanned. And entwined with other lands and has become necessary to their story/history aswell.

According to their ORK3 page [1] there name is Darkwater Hollow so I do not understand the need to merge and delete the Darkwater Hollow page.[2] In my mind this simply ads unnecessary confusion as per our previous conversation when I tried to do a similar thing[3]

[3]>http://amtwiki.net/amtwiki/index.php/User_talk:Munch<

These are all names of Darkwater_(New Mexico) I.E. "Darkwater Hollow" has had at one time or another.

Your input on this issue is necessary for I intend to remove the redirects, and cleanup all pages involved. :-) You requested if I found anything like this that I should contact you also I hope I've provided adequate references, wile bringing this issue to your attention. Hi Ricken. found another one http://amtwiki.net/amtwiki/index.php?title=Westgate_Pass&action=history Munch Ironfistersson 11:34, 7 July 2015 (EDT)
I apologize for the lack of response since June/July, I took a long Amtwiki break and forgot to leave a hiatus notice.
I see you decided to not take action on the redirect pages and deletions. I need to get back into the swing of things, so I'll address this in the week. I just wanted to get back to you as soon as I saw the message, in case you are on in that time.
Enjoy the Anti-Link Rot League gallery, I'd love to get some actual wiki projects going once I get administration issues dealt with on a nat'l Amtgard level.
