Just so you guys know, that blog is very rarely used and fairly outdated =P.

It seemed that way, but it was the best contact I had for the. Plus the writing is good and interesting to read . --Linden 09:30, 21 February 2008 (EST)

Hey, Thomas here. I tried to update a few things, but I'm sure I might have phrased something wrong or mispelled. Also, I set up the Master classes, thanks to Linden (I think) for the correction on the alt classes. I don't want to get in any trouble here.

The only think I think folks might gripe about is the the name 'Onion Knight'. Other wise, you folks seem to be having fun, and I'm all for that. Is everything going well for you guys? --Linden 15:01, 2 July 2008 (EDT)

We kinda hit that lul for a while, but with the Alt Classes and desiging a few more battle games we pretty much are picking things back up. Starting to get closer to the rulebook every week. Even now we realized we were holding elections incorrectly and we're going to correct them. Things are looking up for us.

Excellent, I'm glad to hear it. Any chance of some of you guys making it to Clan this year?--Linden 13:32, 3 July 2008 (EDT)

I'm not exactly certain the info about that. Kai

This year is the 25th anniversary of Clan. It is is the longest running Event. It's held in New Mexico every year on the third weekend of July. --Linden 19:40, 3 July 2008 (EDT)

I can't speak for everyone, but I think New Mexico is a bit out of the way for me. --Kai

Our big recruiting event is on the same weekend. It's an anime convention that is like Christmas for us :D. So I don't think we'll be making it out this year :(. - Tamakins

Noticed how somebody decided to change the Red Bug lake battle thing. Saying how we had 70+ people against their 55, yeah, that's not the case, we were playing at their home park and we had to drive forever to get there. We didn't have that much, in fact, I don't think we've ever had "well over 70+" people at one time. It doesn't really much matter since we had more experience at the time, (it would be like having the blackbelts fight the whitebelts) but by now they're probably on par. I just wish they'd stop trying to attacking us. Most of us don't care. The ones that do are stupid. Just come over and play with us guys, seriously. -Kai

Thumbs down on the alt/master classes.

Master classes or abilities have been tried in Amtgard's past... and abandoned. While I wasn't there, I suspect the reason was to shorten the gap in power between brand new players and The Old Guard.

The physical skills experience players possess is a significant advantage in its own right... I see no need to give such people Even More Power. They're already going to get their guts stomped out. No need to make it worse.

If you feel you must grant additional abilities, I suggest instead that you grant class masters or guild masters of a fighting class the ability to empower new(er) players of their class. The Bard's spell "Confidence" fits quite nicely, but it's not all that hard to come up with other ideas.

I urge you to even the playing field a little, rather than making it steeper.

Oh, and your Prophet is suspiciously like a Paladin that cannot wear armor. (but can give themselves a stoneskin... Time to break out the nerf bat)

Tom here, forgot to sign in when I deleted Alt and Master section. Basically, we don't really use them, (very rarely) and though we keep track of when we use them, you don't really get credit. All the classes should still be available to look at via Alternate Class so it's not like they can't be found, but I felt it gave the wrong impression being the only group particular data on the page. And it being something that was against the rules. --User:Kai

Cool, just wanted to make sure it was you, or some one from your chapter, and not some jerk up to no good. Thanks Kai. --Linden 11:23, 11 September 2008 (EDT)

Hey are you guys know longer doing amtgard at lowery park know one has been there for months now and im tired of wasting my gas when the site says that they are doing it. I would like to know if they stoped please post something regarding that thanks.

Changes Made Recently.

I Deleted the links to web pages and such as the Bonzai Blog is almost a year old with no updates and their forums are now gone. I also added the change on their transfer to the game WotS. If some one could link the words Red Dawn with the entry for it, I don't know how to, that would be nice. I'll be editing that entry as well because that is the name of the actual freehold now that Tetsu Bonzai is slowly being transitioned into WotS and those that disagree with the move have changed parks and formed a group of their own and signing with Kingdom of Neverwinter officially on November 30, 2008. --User:Dameric

It appears that there was a misunderstanding in what I was told by several people and the group is not actually switching to WotS, but staying Amtgard and just playing with WotS on friendly terms. In light of this, I have deleted about the group's change to the other game, but will keep an ear out for more information as it is a developing situation. --Dameric

Upon reading a comment in the Heraldry section, I deleted it deeming it inappropriate for the article. It stated that the freehold was loosing its footing and that many of the original members don't go anymore. While this is true, the situation is more along the lines of the statement I made in the Recent Changes section in the fact that many of its original members now play with Kingdom of Neverwinter. That is why it was deleted. --Dameric
