Heraldry
History
Satsubatsu Gumi is the founding clan in the Way of the Sword boffer fighting organization. They are Japanese cultural based, and use a different rule-set than Amtgard (most notable difference: headshots are legal).
Satsubatsu Gumi is a boffer fighting clan that meets in West Palm Beach. They are a part of the Sakura Moon Empire and were the first clan in the South for the Empire. Along with Hitokiri Oni, they were the beginnings of the Shogunate of the South.
The clan itself was formed in 2003 but under no official name or banner. It's members would meet once or twice a week and participate in Eastern styled weapons bouts with various solid oak weapons including bokken, staff, Kali sticks, tonfa, and some weapons that had no proper name. The group also trained in unarmed fighting styles including Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Kung-Fu, Tae Kwon Do, and Ninjutsu.
