Raven was raised by a priest, as a child, not knowing her real parents. The priest of the small village named her this, because when he found the young girl on the streets, a large majestic raven was perched next to her. He took the girl as his daughter, naming her after the bird, and giving her a home. But on her eighteenth birthday, the village was attacked by a horde of mountain trolls, who killed the kind priest, and everyone else, besides herself. Full of sorrow, guilt and rage; Raven vowed to avenge her 'father' by destroying any monster who crossed her path. Swearing to this, she left the remains of the torn village, to roam the world of Amtgardia.

Mundanian Biography

Raven (Laura) joined Amtgard in August of 2009, after taking about a year to get up the courage and guts to ask about the then 'weird thing at the park'. Since then, she has been a member of Madoc's Keep, introducing a few friends along the way, one of whom now enjoy their saturday's and summers ditching, and sparing with the best of them.
