Naomi of Blackspire was trusted with the funds raised for Pacwar, a sum of approximately $1500.
After making an arrangement to transfer the money to another amtgarder, in a public park. She called police and claimed she was raped in the park by a mysterious assailant, along with having the money stolen. There was mild circumstantial evidence on the scene, a zip-tie and a used condom wrapper.
Upon further questioning by the police she admitted the entire incident was faked, and intended to cover for the fact that she had embezzled the money and used it for personal expenses.
As of 01/19/2012, Naomi maintains her story, as described in her letter to the people of Blackspire.
