Persona

Kiiri is the daughter of the sidhe lord Vedron Oakleaf and the dryad Niminue. Always considered a bit odd, and with a special bond with the forest, Vedron fell in love with the beautiful dryad. Forsaking his home, he left to dwell in the depths of the forest with his love. She eventually bore him a daughter, Kiiri, who was raised in the wild away from the court. She had the powerful magic of her dryad mother, but was not tied to a home tree. This magic however, only worked so long as she stayed in the bounds of the forest. She was quite content and happy in her life, never thinking about missing the company of others when a travelling bard passed through the edge of the forest. Instantly smitten with the handsome stranger, Kiiri lured him from the path until he was hopelessly lost. Fearing her father's wrath, she hid the stranger, and both were content for awhile. They fell in love, but soon the lure of the open road was too much for the bard to bear. He persuaded Kiiri to travel with him, and so she left the forest losing much of her magic and having only her father's teachings of druid lore to rely on. They were married, but the outside world became too much for Kiiri to bear and she persuaded Mandrake to return to the forest again for a time. Having re-emerged into the larger world, both set off for adventure in a new land of heat and sand. Both seem to be doing well, Kiiri adjusting to life in the larger world and learning powerful magic of her own. Mandrake is happy once again to be in group of people who are ever ready to hear his tales.

Family

Kiiri is the Lady of House Duabhar married to Mandrake the Bard. Both she and Mandrake are hoping to adopt more house members, if they don't get around to having their own first.
