Gryphons Rage

History

The fighting company of Gryphons Rage was founded in the then Duchy of Eagleshire in 1998 by Tuk!, Dark Tigger, and Eep. The company struggled through its first few years, coming close to breaking up many times. Things began to change in 1999 as new members were added to the group including Ghost, Golden Plains transplant Thrann Von Doom, and Kraven Koward. Shortly thereafter the company added two more new members with another Golden Plains refugee Fionnigan Hellblazer and Wort. As the next few years went by the company experienced many great achievements and added three more members, and Tuk! the company’s spiritual, if not always actual, leader was squired.

However the company's fate was not to be the same after the appointing of Kraven Koward and Fionnigan Hellblazer to the two chief command posts of Captain and Sergeant. Within six months of the regimes taking of power Tuk! had left the group over unresolved personal issues. Thrann was seduced by the Corsairs into their ranks, taking with him another member. And the remaining members began to converse with the Green Dragons about folding the company into their ranks, and every member trading in their green, black, and red belts for ones without the red. Fionnigan Hellblazer opted not to take the Green Dragons offer having not even been consulted first hand about the deal, and the remaining "Gryphons" fled for the safety of numbers. Fionnigan Hellblazer continues to hold onto the company's heraldry and founding precepts, and has a partner in Nakamura, who is also dedicated to the ideas the company once stood for. So though techincally not a company there is partnership dedicated to bringing this company back to the field, and contention. The plans for the company's future maybe up in the air currently, but through faith and perseverance the Gryphon will fly again.
